Our Group Communications department is responsible for internal and external communication agendas of the voestalpine Group. Its key tasks include planning, coordinating, and executing Group topics and projects both inside and outside our Group.

The Group Communications department consists of the following sections:

Media relations focus on

  • Contact for national and international media contacts
  • Answering press queries and media management of the voestalpine AG’s Management Board
  • Implementation of all Group media activities in Austria and abroad, and those of the four Divisions and 500 Group companies and sites worldwide
  • Driving the internationalization strategy in the field of media relations on behalf of the voestalpine Group
 

Online & Social Media, Newsroom, MaCom

Online and social media focus on

  • Corporate online & social media strategy for the voestalpine Group and its 500 Group companies
  • Management of the Group’s online platforms including the corporate website, landing pages in 14 languages, and microsites dealing with specific topics
  • Editorial planning and content creation for the corporate blogcorporate social media platforms and newsletter
  • Employer branding as a key component of online communication
  • Campaign planning and online as well as social advertising
  • Social media listening
  • Community management
  • Monitoring achievements and all online & social media activities

Newsroom & MaCom

  • The newsroom is an organization model for communications and functions as an information and content hub. It helps maintain, coordinate and integrate an overview of all planned and ongoing topics and activities, including all functions and channels.
  • The MaCom Structure is the voestalpine Group’s overarching marketing and communications organization, taking into account divisional requirements and interests.

Brand communications focus on

  • Defining the content and communicating the voestalpine brand
  • Planning, control, and implementation of brand communications, in particular:
    • Advertising the voestalpine AG
    • Sponsoring activities and communicating their actions
    • voestalpine AG group events
    • Exhibition and conference management
