The Metal Forming Division is a leading global manufacturer of custom-tailored special tubes and sections and precision steel tubes, which are of the highest quality. The division also offers pioneering body and structural components for the automotive industry and renowned suppliers. Additionally, it produces cold-rolled precision strip steel for demanding applications. Moreover, the division is well known as a provider of intelligent rack system solutions for complex logistics challenges.
Customers
The division’s flexible, mid-sized units have the expertise to provide their customers with fast solutions to problems in all phases of the development and production process. Among their customers are practically all of the leading manufacturers in the automotive and automotive supply industries, with a definite focus on the premium segment, as well as numerous companies in the commercial vehicle, construction, storage, energy, and (agricultural) machinery industries. The division maintains long-term customer relationships with most of its key customers—as does the voestalpine Group overall—and offers the advantage of an international presence as well as a unique combination of material expertise and processing competence.
