5 May 2025 |

Opening on May 12, 2025 - Innovation meets customer proximity. With the opening of the new "Lichtbogen-Loft" in southern Germany, voestalpine Böhler Welding is sending a clear signal for customer proximity, technical excellence and practice-oriented solutions. The modern Application Technology Center (ATC) is specially designed to provide customers from trade and industry with the best possible support in all matters relating to welding technology - with sound advice, innovative technology and a high degree of agility.

A place for practical solutions

What makes the "Lichtbogen-Loft" special is the variety of welding workstations. From manual to semi-automated to fully automated welding, the ATC covers the entire range of modern welding processes. Customers benefit from the opportunity to carry out sample and test welds directly on site and to develop individual solutions together with our experts.

With the Lichtbogen-Loft, we can respond specifically to customer requirements. We support our partners throughout the entire process - from the product to the perfect weld seam. Training courses and live demonstrations are key components of our offering.

    Experience technology - understand products

The ATC offers a spacious exhibition area where welding equipment and personal protective equipment from Böhler Welding can be experienced live. An open-plan meeting area invites you to exchange ideas and round off the requirements of our customers.

I am convinced that with the new ATC we are taking another important step towards implementing our Full Welding Solution strategy and thereby creating added value for the customer.
