This training course covers the basics of arc welding, focusing on manual metal arc welding, submerged arc welding and gas-shielded welding.

You will also gain an overview of suitable welding consumables and the key requirements for personal protective equipment. Practical examples illustrate typical areas of use and applications of the processes.

After the training, you will be familiar with:

  • the most important LiBo welding processes (manual arc, submerged arc, gas shielded) and their respective advantages and disadvantages
  • typical areas of application and uses of the processes
  • suitable welding consumables and how to select them correctly
  • how to use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
