With the LaserGuard series as well as Safe Guard Air and Safe Vision Air, Böhler Welding expands its portfolio with sophisticated protective solutions designed for particularly demanding working environments. At the core is a shared commitment and a clear goal: greater safety, enhanced comfort, and improved efficiency in everyday work. Find out more now!
With the LaserGuard and LaserGuard Air, Böhler Welding introduces a hybrid laser welding helmet that combines two protection systems in one. Developed for handheld laser and arc welding, the helmet eliminates the need to switch between different protection systems. This reduces effort in day-to-day operations and helps save costs.
The high-quality laser protection lens not only ensures precise work thanks to clear visibility, but also offers maximum safety. It is designed for wavelengths between 1000 and 1100 nm. For extended use, the LaserGuard is available with a fresh air supply and can be combined with Böhler Welding's air-fed systems. The result is a product that provides reliable protection, high wearing comfort, and maximum flexibility within a single, integrated concept.
Böhler Welding expands its portfolio with two safety helmets designed for applications with high occupational safety requirements: Safe Vision Air and Safe Guard 62F Air. Both systems combine protection for eyes, respiratory system, and hearing in an integrated concept. They are ideally suited for environments where workers must wear safety helmets in addition to performing welding and grinding tasks. The result is a practical 4-in-1 system that delivers comfort and efficiency in industrial processes.
Safe Vision Air is designed as a safety helmet featuring a grinding visor, fresh air supply, and integrated hearing protection. The hearing protection, with a noise reduction rating of 34 dB (SNR), is mounted directly on the helmet. The robust grinding visor ensures clear visibility and enhances safety during grinding tasks. In addition, Safe Vision Air provides highly effective respiratory protection. This is achieved in combination with compatible air-fed systems such as Evolution Air or Guardian Air.
Safe Guard 62F Air extends this concept with a flip-up element featuring an auto-darkening filter (viewing area: 62 × 100 mm, shade levels 5–8 and 9–13), making it additionally suitable for welding applications. The removable flip-up element enables an easy switch between welding and grinding tasks.
With these two product series, Böhler Welding lives up to its commitment to providing users with precisely tailored protection for their daily work. The range covers both specialized hybrid helmets for handheld laser and arc welding, as well as modular safety helmets for industrial applications.
Both series follow a clear guiding principle: protection, comfort, and functionality are optimally aligned, ensuring that workplace safety is seamlessly integrated into daily operations.
