  • Function: Quality Assurance Manager
  • Working for voestalpine Böhler Welding since 2013

My daily tasks:

As Quality Assurance Manager, my main task is to ensure the quality of our products. As part of this process, I work very closely with our production staff and try to guarantee a good flow of information. This involves attending meetings, analysing problems, and working closely with my team to find solutions as quickly as possible. During the certification period, I am also responsible for product testing, including performance testing and reporting. At the same time, I plan internal audits, strengthen the knowledge of our internal auditors, and carry out the audit plan.

Since I have started working for voestalpine Böhler Welding, my supervisors and my colleagues have always pushed me to improve and have always shared their knowledge with me in order to get better every day. They inspire me to keep up the good work.

    • I graduated in Industrial Engineering and did my specialty in Administrative Systems Engineering.
    • I am also a leader auditor in ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
    • I have worked for companies like Sony Music, Schneider Electric, QSAP Solutions and Euclid Chemical where I have had various functions such as Quality Inspector, Management Systems Coordinator, Quality Engineer and Quality and Metrology Chief Engineer and Leader of Integrated Management Systems.
  • Learning is an important part of voestalpine Böhler Welding. It is the most important, along with discipline and knowledge. The company gives us the resources, information and technology and supports us with a highly qualified team that guides us to make the best of things. The high level of respect for our work and company values is a very important part of our culture at voestalpine Böhler Welding.

  • My job allows me to work closely with people, exploring new ways of doing things and solving problems together. In product certification and auditing management systems, I can use my passion and learn something new every day. I am currently trying my hand at welding, which gives me a better understanding of our products and helps me work with my colleagues from technical perspective.

  • I think it was in many different ways. They gave me the tools to grow and contribute to the company and trusted in my professional development. I was invited to join the Early Career Programme, where I learned a lot and developed skills, I didn't think I had, such as negotiation, and recognising my weaknesses to work on them and turn them into strengths. voestalpine Böhler Welding has taught me the most important values and how to relate them to my own and the company's goals. They really instilled in me perseverance and a passion for making the most of every moment. To make the most of every opportunity, and the lesson that if you fall down, you have to get up again, to seek and make the best for the company and for yourself.
