voestalpine AG transferred 944,915 treasury shares (this represents 0.58% of the share capital) to employees of the voestalpine Group and/or to the voestalpine Arbeitnehmer-Privatstiftung (a private foundation for the Company’s employee shareholding program) for allocation to voestalpine Group employees. Of these shares, 800,000 shares were transferred at the price of EUR 39.44, 141,348 shares at the price of EUR 52.00, and 3,567 shares at the price of EUR 51,00. This transfer was carried out within the scope of the existing voestalpine employee shareholding program; the share in voestalpine AG held by employees now represents 11.3%. As of July 2, 2008, voestalpine AG held a total of 1,831,931 treasury shares.

voestalpine AG transferred 27,850 treasury shares (this represents 0.017% of the share capital) to employees of the voestalpine Group and/or to voestalpine Arbeitnehmer-Privatstiftung for allocation to voestalpine Group employees. Of these shares, 2,444 shares were transferred at the price of EUR 65.76 and 406 shares were transferred at the price of EUR 40.00. This transfer was carried out within the scope of the existing voestalpine employee shareholding program; the share in voestalpine AG held by employees is unchanged at 10.7%. As of May 7, 2008, voestalpine AG held a total of 4,561,696 treasury shares.

Within the scope of the existing voestalpine employee shareholding program, on June 26, 2007, voestalpine AG transferred the following voestalpine AG shares (treasury shares) to employees of the voestalpine Group and/or to voestalpine Arbeitnehmer-Privatstiftung for allocation to voestalpine Group employees at the following prices: 

Additionally, on June 18, 2007, voestalpine AG transferred 26,666 treasury shares and on June 25, 2007 1,808,372 treasury shares (a total of about 1,26% of the share capital) to creditors of the convertible bond issued by voestalpine AG in July 2005 at the conversion price of EUR 18.75, representing a total of EUR 37,456,950.00
