    Our ballast wagons in Belgium

    A set of 40 hoppers- Fccpps wagons - are back in Hilversum after their successful deployment in Belgium. During a period of more than two months, Strukton Rail used the wagons for the renewal of the ballast at Ternat in Belgium, in track section 50A between Brussels - Anderlecht. During this renewal no less than 25,000 tonnes of ballast with dimensions of 31,50 - 50 were unloaded.

    600(!) new ECO sleepers placed in the tracks

    We continuously work on making our railways more sustainable. In collaboration with contractor Strukton Rail, we managed to place 600(!) of our ECO sleepers in the tracks nearby the Dutch city of Hoorn this last weekend.

    Belgian rail operator Infrabel tests the NRG joint

    The first NRG joints have been installed in the Belgian railway network. The Belgian rail operator Infrabel wants to test the NRG joint, because the current insulated rail joints in Belgium require a lot of maintenance and replacement. We would therefore like to help Infrabel with this newest generation of insulated rail joint.

    Fixstop OK succesfully installed

    Dura Vermeer Railinfra, in cooperation with voestalpine Railpro, has successfully installed a track termination construction - also known as a buffer stop - on the track at Schiedam.

    High-performance milling factory in the Netherlands extends network lifespan

    As of today milling is part of voestalpine Railpro’ value added rail services, performed in our Rail Service Centre in the Netherlands. Hereby we contribute decisively to the sustainability of the Dutch railway infrastructure since this process extends the lifespan of the rails.
