Young and old can benefit from experience
voestalpine Steel Division's AGIL project is concerned with the prerequisites for age-appropriate performance. A short while ago, the team members of this project interviewed experienced, long-serving employees. They asked these internal experts about possibilities for improvement, in order to organize workplaces in the voestalpine Steel division in a way that all generations can benefit from the best possible working conditions.
The working conditions should allow older employees to continue to lead a healthy occupational live in their current job. But also younger employees should benefit from the experience. With the implementation of the improvement proposals, working at a younger age will be less stressful, and employees will also be able to perform their current job in the future.
Once again, by implementing the improvement proposals and thanks to this type of long-term planning, the voestalpine Steel Division will be one step ahead.
