At this year's InnoTrans in Berlin, voestalpine Railway Systems is presenting the universal zentrak OBJECT CONTROLLER PLATFORM (UNIOC). Developed according to the European standard EULYNX, zentrak UNIOC demonstrates how modern signalling technology can be more easily integrated, operated, and expanded.
EULYNX is a European industry standard for digital signaling technology. Its aim is to standardize communication between interlocking systems and field elements such as points, signals, and level crossings.
zentrak UNIOC is the technological basis for controlling and monitoring key field elements along the railway line. The platform was developed according to the EULYNX standard and enables standardized communication between interlocking systems and field elements.
What makes zentrak UNIOC special: Instead of developing a separate hardware and software solution for each application, voestalpine Railway Systems relies on a common platform. This allows different applications to be operated on the same technological foundation.
