With Cast Fix, voestalpine Railway Systems offers an installation aid specifically developed for top-down construction of slab track systems. The base plate, elastic support, and leveling elements are securely held together as a single unit even before the concrete is poured.

This provides a crucial advantage, especially with larger support plates, such as those used in turnout areas: The elastic support plates remain securely in position during concreting and cannot sag or be contaminated by fresh concrete.

This results in a faster and simpler installation process.

The precise positioning of the fixing points increases the accuracy of the concrete pour. The subsequent effort required for track and height corrections after the concrete has hardened can be significantly reduced.

In addition, there is no need for complex auxiliary structures or additional frames to fix the support points. This saves time on the construction site and simultaneously reduces the risk of damage to sensitive components such as the elastic support plates.

Fastening System 300: Greater flexibility for modern railway lines

Complementing Cast Fix, the Fastening System 300 was developed for conventional railway lines as well as high-speed applications on slab track.

The fastening system impresses with its high adaptability, allowing for adjustments to both track gauge and height. This enables precise adaptation of the track geometry to specific requirements.

The elastic mounting supports reliable force transmission between the rail and the track and simultaneously contributes to balanced system behavior.

A special feature of the Fastening System 300 is the unique design of the SKL15 tension clamp. Its central positioning above the rail foot ensures even distribution of forces. This provides additional flexibility, reduces the risk of overloading or deformation of the clamp, and prevents unwanted rail rotation.

Furthermore, the individual components can be pre-assembled before installation. This simplifies work on the construction site, reduces assembly time, and enables faster installation.
