The Making of CORE — Behind the scenes at our video shoot

2025-11-17 |

For the launch of our CORE Welding Equipment, we had a clear vision: to present our  new CORE Welding Equipment in an authentic setting, with real images and real-world challenges. That’s why we spent three intensive days filming on-site at our customer and distributor Eisen Neumüller. The goal was to capture the true spirit of CORE and showcase its features in action as realistically and effectively as possible. Take a look behind the scenes and experience CORE where it matters most—on the job.

Eisen Neumüller, in Upper Austria, prepares scrap material for steel production, with voestalpine among its key customers. As one of Austria’s largest steel traders, Eisen Neumüller handles substantial volumes of scrap metal and steel—ensuring efficient, high-quality raw material flows for the steelmaking industry.

For us, this was the perfect opportunity to film in a large-scale industrial environment where welding is part of everyday operations. It allowed us to showcase CORE Welding Equipment in action—under real conditions, facing real challenges.

The team on site

With a team of eight people from different countries and departments, the filming began in high spirits, with everyone contributing to the success of the project. Employees from voestalpine Böhler Welding brought in their expertise on the special features of the new equipment and together with a professional welder and the content production team from the MarCom Agency, we were able to capture compelling footage and dynamic scenes that showcased the CORE Welding Equipment in the best possible light.

The result? A true team effort and a video that reflects the innovation and performance of CORE.

What We Filmed – Capturing CORE in Action

  • Real Operations, Real Environments:
We filmed authentic welding scenes, including the repair of a cutting machine and a grab, set against the backdrop of scrap preparation and handling for steel production. Additional footage features stainless steel fillet welds on a stainless steel component—highlighting CORE’s versatility in demanding applications.
  • Aerial Perspectives:
Thanks to the on-site support from Eisen Neumüller, we captured sweeping drone footage that places CORE in its true context: large-scale industrial reality. These aerial shots add depth and scale to the story of CORE.
  • Markus & CORE:
Our welder Markus plays a central role in the video. His hands-on expertise, combined with the highlights of the CORE equipment, brings authenticity and credibility to the scenes.
  • Campaign Visual:
The campaign’s key visual features Markus after completing the repair of the grab, with compressed galvanized sheets in the background—symbolizing strength, precision, and the industrial setting where CORE thrives.

Our heartfelt thanks to Eisen Neumüller for their outstanding cooperation and hospitality during the three days of filming. It was a pleasure working together—we’re thrilled with the result.
