Steel Division and Metal Engineering Division provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine

The Steel Division and the Metal Engineering Division have had a long-standing business partnership with the municipality of Horishni Plavni for decades. This is why we are specifically helping this region with a further donation.

Horishni Plavni is located in the central Ukrainian region of Poltava on the Dnieper River. The Steel Division and Metal Engineering Division have been purchasing iron ore pellets from the mining companies based in this region for decades. The whole region continues to be one of the main destinations of internally displaced Ukrainians. The situation is precarious.

The Steel Division and the Metal Engineering Division have therefore decided to stand by our local partners and the displaced Ukrainian population during these difficult times by providing a total donation of EUR 250,000. These funds will be used to procure humanitarian aid supplies (medical and orthopaedic equipment, medicines, food, toiletries, baby food) and to organise accommodation for displaced persons.
