A special day for more than 80 voestalpine apprentices

At the end of February and the beginning of March, 85 apprentices from voestalpine Stahl GmbH in Linz successfully passed their final apprenticeship examinations, thereby taking an important step in their professional lives.

This was cause for celebration - and not only for the 70% of the young skilled workers who completed their apprenticeships with a distinction or a good mark.

voestalpine Stahl GmbH therefore invited the 76 boys and 9 girls and their guests to a graduation party in the voestalpine Steel World.

This was attended by Wolfgang Eder, CEO of voestalpine, the Chief Financial Officer of voestalpine Steel Division, Alfred Düsing, and the Chairman of the Group Works Council, Hans-Karl Schaller, thus demonstrating how much value voestalpine attaches to its apprentices. They were confirming the importance of young, well-trained, skilled workers for the voestalpine Group.
