With the successfully completed modernization of the hot-dip galvanizing lines at its Linz site, voestalpine is sending a strong signal for innovation and quality. This major project ranks among the most demanding modernization initiatives of recent years: approximately 1,000 tons of concrete and 600 tons of technical equipment were installed—mostly while production was still running. The result is a technological milestone that secures long-term supply security while opening up new possibilities in the production of high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel grades.
