Large: USA & Netherlands
voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation will be offering side members for the US market for large trucks, particularly for Class 8 vehicles such as intercity buses and multi-axle semitrailers, from 2026. These will be manufactured at the expanded site in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and are based on the proven expertise of voestalpine Sadef. The Belgian voestalpine company manufactures side members for trucks and buses up to 12 meters in length. The truck business is also an important pillar of business at voestalpine Automotive Components in Bunschoten. The Dutch metal forming company is characterized by the production of pressed parts and components made of steel and aluminum. Hans-Bernd Einhoff, Head of Sales & Marketing: "We recently received development orders for parts of the driver's cab from a major European truck manufacturer, which we intend to produce in series at a later date."
Electric: China & Belgium
In China, voestalpine Profilform China is focusing on the market for city buses that are being converted to electric drive.
