Selina R. has been working for us at the Donawitz site since 2018. Her research focuses primarily on electric arc furnace slag, as well as casting powders and refractory products. In doing so, she combines the best of two worlds: steel and construction materials.

HBI Plant Marks Another Milestone

Starting in 2027, hot briquetted iron (HBI) will be one of the primary feedstocks for our electric arc furnace in Linz. To ensure continuous feeding, a dedicated supply facility is being built at the Linz site.

We’re Digging Tunnels for greentec steel

A kilometer-long pneumatic tube system has been supporting us at our Linz site for more than three decades. It connects the production facilities of our greentec steel Edition with the central testing laboratory. This is how we ensure the quality of our most sustainable steel edition.
