Alloy 718

Alloy 718 offers high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in H2S and CO2 environments. 718 can be used in high temperatures as it has high temp de-rating factors and maintains strength at elevated temperatures.  Several conditions of 718 are available at voestalpine. We offer the NACE/API 6ACRA versions at 120 ksi min yield as well as the 150 ksi High Strength version. Both of these are suitable for sour service and can be used for pressure containing and pressure controlling equipment in corrosive environments. Typical applications include packers, safety valves, pumps, hangers, connectors, and fasteners.

Also available are the AMS versions of AMS 5662 Annealed and the AMS 5663 150 ksi. These are available for non NACE applications such as drill collars.
