    C17200 Beryllium Copper (BeCu) / Alloy 25 - When high thermal conductivity is needed

    When trace amounts of beryllium is added to other metals, it can significantly enhance the properties of the base metal. Beryllium Copper (BeCu) alloys offer a unique combination of strength, conductivity, hardness and corrosion resistance and are non-magnetic and spark resistant.

    For Oil & Gas applications, BeCu alloys provide the best combination of thermal and electrical conductivity with corrosion resistance and high strength for downhole drilling tools such as collars and subs, flex subs and shafts, rods, bushings, valve components, pump shafts and fasteners.


    • High strength in tubing and also large sections
    • Non-galling
    • Non-magnetic
    • Resistant to chloride corrosion and cracking
    • Tolerant of vibration and moderate temperature (spring force for electrical and electronic connectors and contacts)
