The trend in e-mobility is clearly moving towards even more efficient steels for electric motors. So it’s a good thing that we have the right material for the high demands of electric motor construction: Our isovac® electrical steel strip contributes to particularly high efficiency and top performance of the drive system in electric cars. The BMW Group plant in Steyr shares this view and uses the state-of-the-art electrical steel in its latest generation of electric motors.

Goal reached! 700,000 euros for people in need
Since March 1, 2025, our employees worldwide have collected digital “cares” through their sporting activities in the third voestalpine cares run. These were converted into donations and are now supporting international aid projects.

Over 300 voestalpine employees took part in the 23rd Linz Danube Marathon on April 13 – either in one of the 21 employee relay teams or in an individual discipline. However, we were not only strongly represented in terms of the number of participants in voestalpine T-shirts, but also as a strong partner of the Linz running event.
