Sporting team spirit & strong performances - highlights of the last few weeks at voestalpine Wire Technology

On May 21, 2025, it was time to lace up our running shoes and get going! At the 21st Bruck Business Run, the city center of Bruck an der Mur was transformed into a sporting stage - with over 2,000 participants from 170 companies, including around 30 highly motivated colleagues from voestalpine Wire Technology.

Whether as individual starters, in a 3-person running team or as a Nordic walking duo - for our team, the focus was not only on athletic performance, but also on togetherness and the fun of exercise:

The event impressed with excellent organization, pleasant running weather and an exuberant atmosphere - both on the course and at the after-run party. The feedback from the team is clear: The team spirit was palpable - and the goal was clear: we'll be back next time!

On March 15, 2025, the focus of the 5^th Charity Cycling Challenge at the Ebner car dealership in Bruck an der Mur was not on competition, but on working together for a good cause.

14 teams cycled for 12 hours on ergometers to collect as many kilometers as possible - each of which was converted into financial support for Vinzent, a young man with disabilities.

Full steam ahead: five voestalpine companies - voestalpine Tubulars, voestalpine Wire Austria & voestalpine Wire Rod Austria, voestalpine Böhler Welding, and voestalpine Böhler Aerospace - who took part with around 40 employees and gave their all right up to the last minute.

Whether running through the city or cycling for a good cause - the last few weeks have shown that team spirit at voestalpine Wire Technology is not just a buzzword, but a living reality. And who knows - maybe you'll be there at the next event?
