Titanium Grade 2: 3.7035 / 3.7034, UNS R50400- Commercialy pure Titanium

Titanium Grade 2 is widely recognized as the standard material for demanding industrial environments, thanks to its excellent balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and workability. Its versatility makes it suitable for a broad range of applications across multiple sectors:

Typical Applications:

  • Chemical Process Industry:
Used for reactor vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, and equipment exposed to aggressive media such as acids, chlorides, and brines.
  • Power Generation/ Seawater Desalination:
Ideal for condensers, coolers, and seawater desalination plants due to outstanding resistance to contaminated water.
  • Offshore & Marine Engineering:
Applied in oil and gas platforms, shipbuilding, and components exposed to seawater and harsh marine environments.
  • Medical Technology:
Preferred for housings and handles of instruments and devices, thanks to Titanium Grade 2’s excellent corrosion resistance
