The way we work: First class

voestalpine Präzisionsprofil GmbH has many years of experience and expertise in the production of cold-rolled precision sections. The know-how of our design engineers is aimed at offering our customers economical "in-line" machining, which is normally carried out on upstream and downstream machines. We also have a variety of internal processing options, ranging from gluing and clinching to bending and punching. With external partners, further processing steps - such as KTL, powder and wet coating or piece galvanizing - can also be realized.

Extensive tools

voestalpine Präzisionsprofil GmbH is also one step ahead of the market thanks to the possibility of designing a set of tools for the different mechanical properties of different cold-formable materials. Thus, a special or standard profile can basically be manufactured from carbon steels (hot-rolled strip, cold-rolled strip, galvanized strip), stainless steel (e.g. V2A, especially 1.4301 and 1.4016, or V4A such as 1.4571 and 1.4404) or non-ferrous metals (e.g. aluminium or copper).

Other important advantages: Thanks to our extensive tool pool, we can always contribute tool parts to the individual profile developments of our customers free of charge. And we can provide standard L-, U-, C-, C+ and hat profiles with little or no tooling with cross-sectional dimensions, material thicknesses and lengths that go beyond the generally available range of stocked specialist dealers.

Individual options for standard profiles

Our standard profiles can also be designed according to the requirements of our customers. Our cross-sectional tolerances according to DIN EN 10162 can be agreed individually and the cross-sections can be completed with perforations in line or with our processing options. Cutting to length can be carried out using a cutting tool, shears or saw. A low-burr design can also be taken into account. Manufacturing lengths of 6,000 mm and fixed lengths between 50 mm and 14 m can be agreed, also with limited length tolerances. A typical inner radius in this area is Ri = 0.5 mm, but can also be designed with sharp edges. Finally, we can close the supply chain to your further processing steps by rolling with as little grease as possible.
