We have successfully installed India’s largest Schmetz vacuum furnace (360deg Nozzle Type Quench / German Technology) at our Chennai facility. Such an Investment in ultra-modern technology in spite of slowdown in business due to pandemic situation, clearly announce our vision to being number one solution provider in tooling segment vacuum heat treatment being an important part of it.

The new facility was inaugurated on 21st Jan 2020.

The facility is situated at SIPCOT Industrial Park in Vallam-Vadagal village of Tamil Nadu and is spread across 5 acres providing more stocking space and installation of ultra-modern vacuum heat treatment machines.

The Indian operations was renamed from Bohler-Uddeholm India Pvt. Ltd to voestalpine High Performance Metals India Pvt. Ltd.

The re-branding of products and services were undertaken as per voestalpine group guidelines.

The company established a full-fledged state of the art PVD coating facility in Chakan near Pune

The Company expanded its Vacuum Heat Treatment facility in south India by establishing the facility in its Chennai warehouse premises

In FY 2014-15 two major giants BÖHLER and Uddeholm joined hands and merged their Indian operations under the name BÖHLER-Uddeholm India Pvt. Ltd.  

The company also expanded its operation in North India by establishing warehouse and vacuum heat treatment facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

In June 2009 the company raised its first invoice and started its sales in India from Khopoli.

 The company also initiated its operation in South India by starting warehousing facility in Chennai.   

On 1 ^st April 2008 the BÖHLER India Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in India. Warehousing, Planned Machining and cutting facility was established at Khopoli.
