High Performance Metals Division

The High Performance Metals Division is based on the acquisition of Böhler-Uddeholm AG and Additive Manufacturing processes. It offers its customers material and processing as well as local contacts. 

The division is the global market leader for high-speed steel, valve steels and other products made from special steels, as well as powder materials, nickel-based alloys and titanium. The most important customer segments are automotive, oil & natural gas exploration, mechanical engineering, consumer goods, power generation and aerospace industries. The Division’s companies produce long products, narrow strips, open die and closed die forgings made of special steel.

In the business year 2018/19, the High Performance Metals Division reported revenue of around EUR 3.2 billion; It has around 14,398 employees catering to roughly 160 locations worldwide.
