Quereinsteigerin Verena: Everything's not so difficult

I have been part of voestalpine group-IT since April 01, 2022 – as a trainee in the SAP area.

The term "career changer" fits my situation perfectly: After my training as an industrial clerk, I worked as a "Specialist Decoration". My responsibilities included the development of painting processes through to the series production of children's toys. Within the scope of my activities, I was already active as an SAP key user.

Despite my lateral entry into the SAP area, I decided to join the trainee program. On the one hand, I wanted to deepen my know-how, and on the other hand, I wanted to create a solid foundation for my career as an SAP consultant. I particularly appreciate the comprehensive training opportunities that the program offers. The internal mentoring helps me in my day-to-day training.

For me, "learning by doing" is the best learning method, and the trainee program is an excellent opportunity for this. I can apply what I have learned directly and integrate it into my daily work routine. The combination of work and training is very effective for me. In addition to the technical content, I also learn by exchanging ideas with my internal and external colleagues during the implementation of various projects.

There is a very collegial atmosphere at voestalpine group-IT.
