For over 50 years, voestalpine Wire Germany has stood for quality, precision and customer proximity in the wire industry at its Finsterwalde site. What began with the production of bare wire is now a modern production site of the voestalpine Wire Technology Group - specializing in innovative wire solutions for demanding applications.

Our history is characterized by technical progress and the constant striving for improvement. In Finsterwalde, we now manufacture high-quality drawn wire products for a wide range of industries - from the automotive and construction industries to electrical engineering. The combination of many years of experience, state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated employees makes us a reliable partner on the market.

Our production is based on a process-oriented management system in accordance with ISO/TS 16949:2002 and certified environmental management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2004. We continuously optimize quality and resource efficiency by investing in modern machines, digitalization and AI-supported processes.

One highlight is our use of artificial intelligence (AI) to increase production quality - with the active involvement of our employees.

Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy. For this, we were awarded top marks in the NQC SAQ 5.0 sustainability rating. During a visit from the Minister of Economic Affairs in August 2023, the focus was particularly on our environmental and climate protection initiatives.
