H2FUTURE at the Linz site has already been in operation since 2019:
- largest pilot facility for hydrogen production in the steel industry
- Capacity: over 6 megawatts
SuSteel at the Donawitz site will be commissioned this year:
- steel production by novel hydrogen plasma technology
- allowing CO2 emissions to be avoided completely
