In which products are our pipes used?

  • Mobility

The applications in this area are very diverse – from truck trailer axles to bogie frames for high-speed trains, axles for light commercial vehicles, cylinder liners for engines, vibration dampers for all-wheel drive vehicles, transmission parts, and body frame for trucks. Many of these pipes are rolled using our patented ToughTubes® process.

  • Yellow Goods and Other Applications

Our tubes and components are used in construction machinery, specifically in hydraulic cylinders for dump trucks, mobile concrete pumps, and construction solutions (crane construction). Our products guarantee maximum performance and reliability. Other interesting applications include compressed air tanks (diving cylinders and accumulators), screw conveyors, and rail tubes for rollercoasters.

  • Hollows for redraw

These tubes are a “semi-finished product” and are required for the manufacture of precision steel tubes. The cold-drawn precision steel tubes are mostly used in the automotive industry and mechanical engineering. Other applications include gas cylinders, drill pipes, and hydraulic cylinders.

  • The so-called line pipes are sold through several sales departments worldwide. We focus on pipes in accordance with ISO 3183 (with/without PE coating) for the European gas distribution network.
