Alloy 80A / UNS N07080 / 2.4952 / Böhler L080A – High-Performance Alloy for High-Temperature Applications

Böhler L080A is a precipitation-hardenable, austenitic nickel-chromium alloy offering high strength and excellent creep resistance.

Key Features:

  • Very good corrosion resistance in oxidizing media
  • Good scale resistance at high temperatures up to 1000°C
  • High strength and excellent creep resistance at operating temperatures up to 815°C
  • High fatigue strength even under extreme conditions
  • Good weldability
  • High work hardening in solution annealed conditions

Böhler L080A is preferred for demanding high-Performance Alloy for high-temperature applications, especially in:

  • Blades, rings and discs in gas turbine applications
  • Fasteners for high temperature applications
  • Exhaust valves in combustion engines
  • Mountings for boiler tubes
  • Inserts in castings or high-temperature springs
  • Hot work tools, forging hammers, pressing tools, bolts
