2022-09-01 |

Italian market know-how combined with Austrian expertise is intended to take the acquisition of new customers in Italy to a new level.

Goal: Bundled competences for market expansion

voestalpine Signaling Austria CU DMT Infra (Competence Unit: Diagnosis and Monitoring Technologies for Infrastructure) is aiming for more active development of the Italian market in the area of diagnosis and monitoring for infrastructure in the future. In order to optimally cover this extensive sales area, a cooperation with Ducati Energia has been entered into. The company, based in Bologna, has many years of experience in the sale of diagnostic and monitoring solutions, particularly in Italy.

Current developments

The initial joint work packages have already been defined. First of all, the focus is on communicating the partnership, promoting the products and entering the new market. In the course of this, an initial training session was held at voestalpine Signaling in Zeltweg for the responsible colleagues from Ducati Energia to get to know the products and the market strategy. Subsequently, a detailed analysis of the Italian market will be carried out together in order to derive the next work steps. In addition, CU DLD/S (Competence Unit: Drives, Lockings, Detection Systems and Signaling Solutions) also signed a separate agreement with Ducati Energia for the distribution of its product portfolio in Italy.
