Mathias #FavoriteMoments: Taking Responsibility for an Automated Plant
- 2
Mathias took the leap from the restaurant industry to metal technology and joined us as a temporary employee. At first, he was assigned to support tasks, but his interest in technology quickly caught his colleagues’ attention: Mathias is eager to learn and soaks up new information like a sponge. Eventually, he began working on the complex production lines and was quickly hired as a permanent employee.
Mathias knows the company culture and the collegial spirit in production from his experience as both a temporary and a permanent employee. The interactions have always been respectful and personable. During his professional onboarding, he learned everything he needed to know—including plenty of details—from his colleague Daniel, who knows every nut and bolt and shares his knowledge with exceptional expertise. Mathias can always turn to him for help.
One very special moment—one of many #FavoriteMoments—was when Mathias was allowed to operate a fairly new, fully automated sawing and drilling machine on his own. At first he was surprised, but then he was thrilled by the trust placed in him as a career changer.
Mathias is working toward mastering the production equipment as well as his colleague Daniel. And he also has his sights set on further career steps. In any case, his career change to our company has opened up entirely new perspectives for him.
In our new brand and image campaign #FavoriteMoments, we show our contribution to a modern, sustainable life from the perspective of people. We focus on their individual favorite moments and the commitment of our employees that makes such moments possible. The specially composed song “All these moments” accompanies the campaign and musically conveys our values, courage, community and our joy for the future and is authentically accompanied by pictures of our employees.
