voestalpine Bohler Welding Middle East FZE

• Provide technical service & sales support for all voestalpine Bohler Welding filler metals, welding equipment, automation, robotics PPE and accessories and develops solutions for Customers.
• Actively involves with the commercial sales and technical team to find, win and keep customers.
• Executes product or application related demonstrations, testing and training including benchmarking, procedure and solutions development at Customers or in our local Application Technology Center (ATC).
• Supports the creation and maintenance of welding knowledge database (local or global).
• Supports Regional Technical Sales Engineer with product and procedure related tasks.
• Actively supports the commercial sales and technical team in managing and executing technical seminars / conferences / training events.
• Contributes with technical expertise to marketing activities e.g. fairs, social media posts, publishing of articles / papers.

• Engineering degree/diploma or suitable Welding Industry relevant qualification.
• Competent multiple welding process demonstrator / instructor.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and technical support of welding products i.e. filler metals, equipment and PPE.
• Detailed knowledge of welding products and welding processes.
• Knowledge of assignment of welding products to applications, procedures and segments.
• Self-organized individual with high degree of discipline and self-motivation.
• Ability to work across a multi-functional and multi-cultural organization.
• Willing to travel regionally and internationally.
• Excellent command of English – oral and written.
• Applicant should be located in Johannesburg - South Africa and should be eligible to work in South Africa.
