Looking back – milestones and projects that shaped the past 12 months

Our latest presentation of our products and solution made a strong impression in the 2025/26 fiscal year – with over 800,000 views on our YouTube channel and a clear positioning of our company along with a strong message: “Performance in Tubulars”. Filmed under extreme real-world conditions, the spot showcases technical expertise in action and reflects the environments our solutions are designed for.

Produced over 10 shooting days across six different locations worldwide, the project generated around 20 hours of raw footage. Employees from different regions, including Saudi Arabia and the Semmering Base Tunnel, stepped in front of the camera to authentically represent their daily challenges. Behind the scenes, the production team mastered demanding conditions such as extreme heat, sand exposure, complex tunnel geology, and strict drone regulations that required last-minute coordination with locally licensed pilots. 

What makes this film especially authentic: Only our own employees appear on camera – bringing credibility, expertise, and the reality of our global working environment to the screen.

Throughout the year, teams were deeply involved in major initiatives around the globe. From long‑term customer projects in Saudi Arabia, delivering high‑performance solutions for demanding oil and gas operations, to activities in North America, where complex geological conditions, and seasonal challenges such a wildfires require maximum resilience from both materials and people. Across technical teams, business development, sales, logistics, marketing, production, and international project sites, our colleagues demonstrated what defines us as a company: dedication, responsibility, and visible expertise – proven in every challenge they face.

In OCTG, proprietary connections such as VAsuperior® and VAtitan®‑SF enable safe and efficient operations under the most demanding drilling conditions. Our Line Pipes, produced according to API 5L, ASTM, and ASME standards, ensure the reliable transport of liquids and gases in critical infrastructure.

Our Industrial Pipes portfolio covers a wide range of applications – from Geotechnical Systems and Mobility to Yellow goods and Pressure Applications. With our ToughTubes® technology, we can also meet our customers’ requirements for high-strength steel pipes—they stand for maximum strength, excellent cold formability, and improved surface quality.

In the Renewables segment, we continue to expand solutions for Geothermal Energy, Hydrogen Applications, and Carbon Capture & Storage, supporting the transition toward sustainable and future‑oriented energy systems with maximum performance.

Complementing the portfolio, our seamless Hollow Sections – square and rectangular – are ideally suited for use in Steel Constructions, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mobility due to their outstanding product properties. They impress with their homogeneous structure across the entire cross-section, tight edge radii, and the potential for weight savings through higher and high-strength steel grades.

Across all product groups, continuous development, strict quality standards, and close collaboration with customers ensure that our solutions meet real‑world requirements – today and tomorrow.

From early‑season events such as GeoTHERM, EGYPES, and NASCC: The Steel Conference to major industry gatherings across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, our teams were present wherever dialogue, innovation, and market insight matter most.

Whether at GeoTHERM, bauma, H2Technology, or ADIPEC, each event provided valuable impulses. They support to further strength our positioning of solutions like VTS®‑edgeTubes in the North American market and deepened our understanding of current demand in Hydrogen and Geothermal Applications. The particularly busy fall season demanded our full commitment: Seven trade fairs within just a few weeks meant countless conversations, focused product presentations, and new ideas that will shape future projects.

Beyond external events, internal exchange played a key role as well. Our Employee Information Event brought hundreds of colleagues together, fostering transparency, dialogue, and a shared vision across the entire company. At the same time, by welcoming new apprentices in key technical disciplines, we continued to invest in the next generation of expertise that will drive our future success.

The upcoming fiscal year will be an ambitious one – marked by multiple highlights and a strong focus on innovation, transparency, and performance. Some new product innovations are already on the horizon, further strengthening our portfolio and delivering added value to our customers across key industries.

We will provide deeper insights into voestalpine Tubulars products, highlighting not only technical characteristics but also the valuable benefits they provide. A stronger spotlight will be placed on production processes, offering a closer look at how quality, efficiency, and precision are ensured throughout our operations.

At the same time, employee interviews will bring valuable technical expertise to the forefront – sharing hands‑on experience, application knowledge, and perspectives from those working closest to our products and customers. With trade fairs and industry events scheduled throughout the entire year, opportunities for exchange, dialogue, and inspiration will remain a key pillar of our activities.
