Staying Informed Together – Employee Information Event 2025

On July 1st, the annual employee information event took place in the Automotive Hall at the Kindberg site. Around 500 colleagues took the opportunity to learn about current developments at voestalpine Tubulars, as well as within the Group and the division.

A comprehensive and honest look back at the past financial year

The event began with a collective review of the past financial year. This year, our Commercial Managing Director, Gernot Graller-Kettler, took on the task of presenting the results of the Group, the Metal Engineering Division, and voestalpine Tubulars.

He particularly emphasized the strong sense of solidarity and the commitment shown by all employees, which made it possible to successfully master all challenges in the past year.

Informing with personality

Once again, Günter Angerer ensured an entertaining and smooth program, guiding the audience through the agenda with his usual charm and confidence. The  topic, “Employee Participation,” was – as in the previous year – presented by Johannes Pointer. As an executive board member of the voestalpine Employee Participation Private Foundation, he shared updates on the employee participation scheme and explained recent changes.

Two prize draws as a special highlight

A special highlight of this year’s event was not just one but two prize draws. In the voestalpine Tubulars internal draw, attractive prizes were awarded. The grand prize – an Intersport voucher worth €2,000 – went, of all people, to our health manager Georg Egger. Second and third place were rewarded with Kindberg vouchers worth €700 and €500, respectively, while places 4 to 13 each received a €50 Spar voucher.

The second prize draw, organized at the divisional level, is still ongoing. The challenge is to spot and mark five unsafe conditions hidden in a “hidden object” illustration focused on occupational safety. Anyone who would like to participate still has the chance to do so – the illustration can be collected and returned to the TM department until August 31, 2025.

The event concluded with a generous buffet provided by Eurospar Spruzina, which – as in previous years – was very well received and offered the perfect setting for a relaxed end to the evening.
