On June 30, we were delighted to welcome our new apprentices to voestalpine Tubulars. Together with their parents, they were invited to our site for a ceremonial signing of their apprenticeship contracts - an important milestone at the start of their professional future.

We are proud to present the latest addition to our Proprietary Connections: the VAtitan®-SF. This innovative semiflush connection has been specially developed for demanding applications in oil and gas production, so that even deeper and difficult-to-access raw material deposits can be extracted safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. Due to the semiflush technology, seamless steel pipes can be connected directly and securely. On July 1st, the annual employee information event took place in the Automotive Hall at the Kindberg site. Around 500 colleagues took the opportunity to learn about current developments at voestalpine Tubulars, as well as within the Group and the division.

On June 28, 2025, we invited everyone to the Long Day of Energy at our Kindberg production site. We opened our doors to interested visitors and offered a varied program. With informative presentations on the topic of energy, combined with a plant tour of our hydropower plant, the photovoltaic system on the roof and the district heating chimney, we gave our guests fascinating insights into the current and future energy supply of voestalpine Tubulars.

Our exciting trade fair appearances in the spring enabled us to showcase our high-quality product solutions worldwide, strengthening our global network in a variety of markets. Read more!

The start of deep geothermal drilling for one of the most important milestones on the way to a climate-neutral heat supply for Vienna took place in December 2024. We are supplying the Deeep project, a joint venture between OMV and Wien Energie, with high-quality seamless steel pipes including our environmentally friendly DryTec^® thread coating.

Around a year ago, we at voestalpine Tubulars officially launched our product, VTS®-edgeTubes. With this flagship project, we have pushed the boundaries over the past year, driven forward the production and further development of VTS®-edgeTubes and successfully delivered the first orders.
