VISITOR SERVICE
As your contacts for any issues regarding your booking, our visitor service experts will be pleased to help you book a guided tour that meets your specific needs. They see all the bookings in our system and will help you find the perfect date for your visit.
Visitor services are also available to answer any other questions about the voestalpine Stahlwelt as well as our range of products and services.
SUPERVISORS
Our supervisors will welcome you to the voestalpine Stahlwelt and will be available throughout your visit to answer any of your questions. They will divide you into smaller groups and make sure that you are on time for your works tour.
Supervisors will also be in the Stahlwelt Shop, where you can buy souvenirs like one of our t-shirts that have become particularly popular.
GUIDES
Each year, a total of roughly 2900 Stahlwelt and works tours are accompanied by 26 dedicated visitor guides. They know all the important things about voestalpine and steel.
Though technological jobs in Austria are usually held by men, our steel experts are mostly female. Team leader Daniela Jehart is assisted by a professional team, of which about two-thirds are women. They are distinguished by their in-depth knowledge of voestalpine as a company and by their eloquence, openness and deep interest in the people they serve.
One thing is crystal clear: No two groups of visitors are alike, just as no two types of steel are alike, and this is why we tailor each tour to the particular group. Our visitor guides always take factors such as age, prior knowledge and interest levels into account. They are always happy to answer any questions.
