With around 750,000 visitors since its opening in 2009, the voestalpine Stahlwelt has been a popular fixture for schoolchildren, students and other guests who wanted to experience innovation and technology in steel production first hand. Starting in July 2024, the voestalpine Stahlwelt will be fundamentally adapted and modernized over the next 1 ½ years. The popular tours through the voestalpine factory premises will still be possible during the renovation. They start from the newly built works tour terminal.
