SSC Italy: Metalservice S.p.A.

Metalservice S.p.A. was founded in 1989 in Cittadella as a joint venture between the Italian steel service network Gruppo Gabrielli (60%) and voestalpine (40%). The goal was to develop the distribution of flat steel products, particularly for the home appliance market.

Today, the service centers in Cittadella and Vicenza deliver more than 300,000 tons of steel strip to customers annually. As one of the most efficient Steel & Service Centers in Europe, the slitting and cut-to-length lines provide the capability to supply high-quality slit strips and sheets made from cold-rolled, hot-dip galvanized, aluminized, electro-galvanized, aluzinc-coated and non-oriented electrical steel.
