About the TÜV Science Award

The TÜV Austria Science Award was created in 2012 on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the certification service provider TÜV Austria, and has been awarded every fall since then. The Science Award is presented in three categories and honors outstanding technical and scientific diploma theses, master's theses and dissertations at Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences, HTL final theses, and technically innovative examples from corporate practice. The prize is endowed with a total of 15,000 euros.

In 2022, there were 125 applications with a total of 170 project participants - a new submission record and a strong signal for the eleventh edition of the TÜV AUSTRIA Science Award.
