We offer a complete line of concrete railroad ties. Our catalog includes solutions for standard track, turnout, gantry, and specialty applications, including guard rail, restraining rail, and grade crossing ties.

All concrete ties are designed in accordance with AREMA specifications and can be customized to meet customer requirements in heavy haul, industrial, transit systems, and high-speed applications. They are engineered to require minimum maintenance while maintaining track gauge in harsh conditions over long periods of time.

Concrete ties are designed to improve the reliability of existing track, build long-term performance with longer in-track life, and reduce maintenance with opportunities to lower costs.

  • Concrete ties support efficient installation using fastening systems with a pre-set gauge and can be installed at rates of up to 1,200 ties per day. They provide greater efficiency by requiring fewer ties per track mile compared to timber and other tie types, while also delivering greater life expectancy.
  • A stiffer track foundation helps reduce required lining and surfacing maintenance and supports accurate track gauge. Reduced friction and a stiffer track structure allow rolling stock to move with less resistance and decreased fuel consumption.
  • Elastic fastening systems improve gauge holding and increase resistance to rail movement caused by thermal stress and traffic loads. By limiting lateral and longitudinal rail movement, concrete ties contribute to improved safety by reducing derailments and minimizing derailment damage.
