As part of the retrofit service, worn parts are thoroughly inspected, repaired, and prepared for reuse. Non-destructive testing methods such as magnetic particle inspection and ultrasonic testing are typically used to detect potential cracks or material fatigue at an early stage. This is followed by targeted repair welding with stress-relief annealing and subsequent mechanical reworking. The result is an extended service life with consistent performance.
