The voestalpine cares run is entering its next round!

With impressive energy, team spirit, and physical exertion, our employees worldwide are proving what is possible when everyone gets active for a good cause in the voestalpine cares run. The initiative enables our employees to promote their health through sporting activities while supporting people in need.

Stronger together with every step

Since the start on March 1, 2026, our employees worldwide have been collecting digital cares again, which will be converted into a total of € 700,000 in donations for international aid projects. Whether running, hiking, wheelchairing, or handcycling – every activity counts.

And the commitment is having an impact: the first donation level has already been reached, unlocking donations totaling €100,000. This is a great success that shows how strong the team spirit is at voestalpine.

Support for international aid projects

This year, we are once again setting an example for social responsibility. With the cares collected, we are supporting renowned organizations: the Austrian Red Cross, UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, and Hilfswerk International.

The projects range from Austria to Brazil to Ukraine. There are four stages in total – with the common goal of unlocking the maximum donation amount of €700,000 by May 23.

Review: What we achieved in 2025

Last year, 7,322 employees impressively showed us what is possible:

Together, we want to move the world again in 2026 – and the current pace shows that we are well on our way to achieving great things together once more.
