Components requiring excellent resistance to boiling, concentrated nitric acid, equipment and components exposed to highly concentrated chlorine solutions at elevated temperatures, components for urea plants.
Product Features
Austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel with nitrogen addition and extra low carbon content. Resistant to intergranular corrosion in the temperature range up to 400°C. Does not require post-weld heat treatment. Surface finish required for optimum corrosion resistance: pickled. Cold forming properties are very good. The steel is capable of taking a mirror polish.
