2018-07-21 |

Daniel Pennerstorfer, currently doing his third year as an apprentice at voestalpine Krems Finaltechnik GmbH, scored highest in category 5 (process engineering) of the apprentice competition and came off as winner in his job category.

The best Lower Austrian Junior specialists were awarded in different categories during this year’s apprentice competition. In total, 109 apprentices from 33 industrial enterprises took part in the 10th apprentice competition of the Lower Austrian Economic Chamber’s industrial division.

In addition to Daniel Pennerstorfer’s top score, Fabian Schagerl, apprentice at voestalpine Krems GmbH, was able to obtain the third place in category 1 (metal engineering – mechanical engineering).

To compete against the other apprentices, the participants had to tackle tasks in various fields (a.o. turning, milling, drilling and a pneumatic task). Both apprentices did a great job and were finally rewarded with outstanding results.

We congratulate our winners!
