The High Performance Metals division has production sites in Austria, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, and the USA and heat treatment operations in Asia and North America. Its sales subsidiaries operate in over 50 markets, on all continents, with approximately 100,000 customers throughout the world. Key customers include: the automotive and automotive supplier industries, tool and machine tool manufacturers, aircraft manufacturers, consumer goods and electronics industries, wood and saw industries, textile and paper industries, steel and apparatus construction, power station and plant construction.

Our High Performance Metals subsidiary, located in Australia, focuses on technologically demanding product segments and is an Australian market leader for specialty steels, tool steel, alloy steels  plus other value added services such as Additive Manufacturing, Machine Knives, Heat Treatment, Forgings and other special services.

The strength of the voestalpine Group and expertise of its production companies means the Australian business will continue to benefit from a strong supply chain, extensive product portfolio and financial backing. This has allowed for extensive investment in our purpose-built distribution and service facilities across Australia.
