voestalpine Automotive Components Cartersville Ilc. is the new US headquarters for supplying premium manufacturers in the automotive sector with ultra-high-strength body components. The range of products ranges from pressed parts and assemblies to hot-formed and laser-welded blanks. The state-of-the-art plant is voestalpine's first production site for ultra-high-strength automotive components in lightweight construction in the NAFTA region. The plant at the Cartersville site is another important step by the voestalpine Group in offering local customers high-quality support. Geographical proximity to customers is essential, as many products are subject to a narrow deadline window between production and further processing.

voestalpine Automotive Components Cartersville Inc. is the anchor tenant in Highland 75 Industrial Park, Bartow County, Georgia. The voestalpine site, which opened in spring 2014, has developed rapidly since then. By 2020, this project is expected to have created a total of 450 new jobs with a total investment of 70 million US dollars in several project phases.
