I have been working at voestalpine group-IT since April 2015, which is now eight years. I became aware of group-IT through a headhunting agency, which contacted me by phone and thus made me aware of the group. In my job I mainly work as an IT infrastructure project manager, but due to my technical background I am also involved in many other topics.
One particularly exciting project at the moment is in the USA, where tasks also have to be completed on site. A highlight of my work so far has also been helping to implement a system in Sweden. This was a very challenging task, as not only was the system complex, but there were also cultural aspects that were particularly exciting to experience.
voestalpine group-IT is a company that offers many exciting topics and a wide range of perspectives. Despite the distance between the various subsidiaries, the interaction is very personal. In addition to the variety and the pleasant interaction, I also particularly appreciate the employee participation in the form of share purchase. This is a very interesting way of sharing in the company's success.
For me, success means having the opportunity to contribute my own ideas and thus make a difference. This is true in my job and I therefore simply enjoy working for voestalpine group-IT in Germany.
