Stay flexible

The work-life balance of our employees is important to us. Therefore, we do not have all-in contracts, but offer flexibility in terms of place and time.

  • Minor employment, part-time, or full-time: at voestalpine group-IT, your working hours are adapted to your needs.
  • Office, working from home, hybrid: You decide.

Our work-time model is particularly flexible. Whether you are an early riser or a long sleeper: we accommodate everyone. In addition, we do not have core working hours and also encourage work from home. This allows our employees to best balance their work and private lives.

Catering

The cafeterias at our locations in Donawitz and Linz offer employees various set meal options. At our other locations, employees receive a meal allowance.

Health & fitness

Our employees get an allowance toward all annual gym memberships. The company’s in-house medical center in Linz provides basic medical care. Discounted supplementary insurance schemes are also available throughout Austria.

Beyond the job

Our Works Council is represented at locations throughout Austria and provides employees with advice and support. In cooperation with experts, the Works Council team provides support primarily on legal issues such as salary classification, working hours and other topics relating to the working environment.

The team regularly plans and organizes various events and excursions. The annual ski days and company excursions at special conditions are always very appreciated.

Our employees also benefit from a wide range of support services provided by the Works Council. Among other things, there are subsidies for vaccinations, vision aids, dental treatment and gym membership. In the case of some topics, the benefits also apply to the employees' children.
