The Special Steel Division operates roughly 160 sales and service locations in all industrialized regions of the world. The importance of these activities is underscored by the fact that approx. 40% of the division’s employees work in sales and service. With the acquisition of the Eifeler Group of companies, voestalpine Edelstahl is now offering coating services. No other competitor in the special steel sector has a comparable global sales organization that can offer customers real added value with local warehousing, machining, heat treatment, coating, applications consulting and other services.
voestalpine Edelstahl is the worldwide number one in service centers with a focus on tooling. Nearly 1,000 high-performance saws at all sales locations cut materials, 350 milling machines precisely cut and about 100 heat treatment furnaces harden material according to customer specifications. The sales and service network guarantees the high quality of all products as well as fast delivery from stock. The motto is: order today – take delivery tomorrow.
